As spring approaches, projects are ramping up on Empiricus.

                             Here, Capt. Dale Plate takes final measurements for trim and finish work.

  The “Turtle” is designed to protect the sliding hatch from crushing waves, and provide good footing at sea.  It is made from Koa wood, trimmed with African Mahogany.
