While sailing we will be using a Delorme inreach tracking and messaging device. This device allows us to send and receive short email or txt messages and also tracks our progress on the Delorme mapshare service. The mapshare page will currently show our location as Seward until I actually join the crew in Nome around July 10th. On the mapshare page if you click on the “user list” on the left side, click on my name Jason Wilson you will see a message icon that will allow you to directly send us a message. Please use sparingly. Although we will be using this device regularly if it gets dropped over board or smashed or consumes all the AA batteries we have do not assume we are dead. We will have redundant communication devices.
